Bahria Town donation
A senior columnist on 4th September 2010 discloses that that Malik Riaz the owner of Bahria Town, perhaps the biggest developer in Pakistan, has donated 2 arab dollars (dollars or rupees is not clear) being 70% of his income has donated for the floods victims. General Pervaiz Musharraf has also donated Rs. 10 millions. Musharraf was a dictator, he sold people to USA in exchange of dollars as is alleged. He allowed drone attacks, this and that, well admitted all this hateful. After all he donated something, may be a peanut, out of his own hard earned income or looted national wealth which act of his tells he has some character after all if we keep in view the so called Democrats who too looted a lot and keep looting are not known to have donated anything even from their looted money. Malik Riaz earned all his wealth in collaboration with "some" using the name or at-least trying to give an impression if his projects were directly or indirectly to do with Pakistan Navy. But he too has shown a character by donating. Pulling out money large or small, out of hard earned or from Haram requires a character and courage. Well done Malik Riaz; I would propose him that instead of giving this money in cash or kind to any NGO or to effected people, to please construct on their washed out houses small standard units with concrete foundation to withstand any future such calamities even if these people in future have to take shelter on safe roof tops of your constructed houses. The amount is little hence you construct for them merely small two room standard simple house with good material which they could develop gradually later. You once stated you can provide a home to every Pakistani.. Your donated amount could thus provide relief to 200 or 300 but it would be much better than providing to 5000 different items These people need roof to sit under it on priority. If you start this way, I will not be surprised many thousands who are hesitant in giving donation may join you.

What a load of cr@p. You ought to be ashamed for defining this as "chracter" -- certainly puts a floodlight on your own...
BTW: It was "discussed" here previously:
