Lesson for CJ
Recently, US Supreme Court did the hearing of the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare).
This is considered one of the biggest cases of the decade in US Supreme Court.
Judges finished hearing the argument from both side in three days. Yes just three days. There was no tareekh pae tareekh. No one got food poising No one had to leave town to attend wedding.
And the judgement, yes the final judgement, will come in June.
If the US Supreme Court can hear the arguments against legislation passed by Congress and signed by President, why can't Pakistan Supreme court decide on NRO.
CJ has not given one judgement. Only drama bazi and news making headlines.
if they complete hearing in 3 days why not judgement in a week, why need three month to examine these arguments and decide the decision.
Fact is that all the SC always decide in favor of government in most cases to avoid any interruption in day to day business.
I am not aware of the inner workings of US SC. However, this is one of the biggest cases to land in US SC. I imagine they will spend time studying the arguments, the actual legislation, then discuss and argue among themselves and then give their individual verdict.
From what I read, US SC is leaning towards deciding against the government. So your argument is not valid.
However, my point is, look at the process. Time was given to both sides to prepare and present and time frame is set for the judgment.
Its not like how our courts work. One hearing, then two weeks later another hearing..then two months later another then. Then everyone forgets about the case..and SC starts another drama
Cj picks only those case which boost his publicity.
How many poor ppl are going to high or supreme ct for there cases but nothing has change
The best example is
'ISAF containers’ case
'Verdict' of Rental Power.
No one goes to jail. No money returned. Just hawai fire
