  • Face saving for qadri.

  • This Pact might frustrate the Anti-Democracy School of Thought.

I am sure there could be a speculation if this Long March was another political move by Mr. Asif Ali Zardari?

  • Perhaps the most important is

    1. With the end of the long march and sit-in, all cases registered against each other shall be withdrawn immediately and there will be no acts of victimisation and vendetta against either party or the participants of the march.

    And least important is

    1. The treasury benches in complete consensus with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will propose names of two honest and impartial persons for appointment as Caretaker Prime Minister.

  • Any thing new in this declaration.

    Safe passage for Padri.

  • One thing very important .

Darama is concluding without any causality.

    Thanks God.

  • its funny because they could have submitted their 2 name anytime... this is the only point which holds any meaning. Rest is just noise. Anytime before March 16th is March 15th...lol.Issue of EC will drag its feet...and art 62/63 is part of constitution so it will be implimented like it has always been....

I slute Zardari...what a clever man he is.

  • Koi baat tasleem ni ki gai just

TUQ ki ba izaj wapsi ko mumkin bnaya+

    gaya hy

  • So Zardari's cat has come out of the bag.It has become crystal clear that this all was staged by Zardari. He did not leave any stone unturned to invite military establishment to come and kick them out of the government so that PPP may get chance of political martyrdom. It was a war of nerves, in which PPP got defeated. After defeat they needed a honorable return for which today TUQ announced the final round and ultimately we see that Sit In has finally closed. In the declaration you see every thing has been decided and agreed between present allies of government and TUQ's Awami Tehreek. There is no mention for consultation with N-League, PTI, JI and other opposition parties.

I personally feel that Establishment has handled the situation with great care and well management. Alhamdu Lillah.

  • I should add some more words to above. was last chance for Zardari which he has utilized. Now the ball is in the court of establishment. And we know that their style of working is different. So be ready for some unexpected events to happen in coming time.

  • Has anyone got Mullah Qanadi's original demands? (i still dont know or understand what they were!)

  • LHR, there were no demands at all, if you are talking about the acutal ones. It was a game to creat chaos and anarchy in the capital to temp 111 brigade, but turned to a failed attempt.

  • SCheema. The drama is concluding without casuality because Kiyani sahib made it clear to Zardari & Co, that they know what it is all about.

  • All is well that ends well. Yes, PPP and its allied party leaders struck the iron when it was red hot. You may call all things against this government, and I agree in toto, but their cooling down this "long march" without any meltdown should be appreciated. No casualty occured and amidst freezing rainfall the showdown ended with a happy note. Period.

However, the real drama starts right from now. My fingers crossed I am waiting how the opposition parties (PML-N, JI, JUI, PTI to name a few) would react because they were not on board. How much and in which direction they would go, and how the ruling parties would bring them agreed on mutual agenda. Thank you Admin for giving us ready script of this "Long March Declaration". There is no real point that have been agreed upon, for which second negotiation would take place in Lahore. Come what may, this party is over.

Many bitter and pleasant problems would emerge. Same will happen on this august forum and same will happen on our "commercial media". There would be many turn arounds.

  • No dual citizen can hold public office but we will appoint at a care taker PM with consulation with a Canadian.

    Strange logic!

  • If we leave all political loyalty at one side following points are may be the most important thing for PAKISTAN

    1. .... One month will be given for scrutiny of nomination paper for the purpose of pre-clearance of the candidates under article 62 and 63 of the constitution so that the eligibility of the candidates is determined by the Elections Commission of Pakistan. No candidate would be allowed to start the election campaign until pre-clearance on his/her eligibility is given by the Election Commission of Pakistan

    2. Electoral Reforms: It was agreed upon that the focus will be on the enforcement of electoral reforms prior to the polls on:

    A. Article 62, 63 and 218 (3) of the constitution

  • Dr. Qadri has aligned himself with the treasury benches.

"2) The treasury benches in complete consensus with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will propose names of two honest and impartial persons for appointment as Caretaker Prime Minister."

Dr. Qadri was standing shoulder to shoulder with people who are technically disqualified by Article 62 & 63. Moreover he was praising people who are technically disqualified by the same articles.

He praised both PM and President today, whom Dr. Qadri called as corrupt and led slogan of " Allah Akbar" on the news that PM was to be arrested.

Dr. Qadri is the biggest loser in the eyes of people who contemplate.

By the way, do you think, was this planned by Zardari?

  • Looking at the Circumstantial evidences and the outcome of the Long March,

    I have reason to feel,

    That

    The Show was

    One of the Best

    Political Move and strategy

    By

    Mr. Asif Ali Zardari

    No doubt

    that he is

    Very shrewd Political Player.

Even Most of the political Pundits and Media Anchors

    Could not decode the MOVE.

    Well played

    Asif AlI Zardari

  • only beneficiary! is supreme court in all this drama!! well played!! everything will officially be decided by Ch iftikar now!!
