A great man once said that we need
Unity, Faith, Discipline
And we use the great man' name to hurl abuse on others, issue certificate of patriotism or treachery to others, use to further our agendas etc but we never follow the three golden words he said.
There are tons of negatives in western countries but they never talk about it. One of our biggest negatives is that we are always focused on the negatives. There is no denying of our weaknesses, but we should find some good too in our great nation.
I believe our problems are there not because we are inherently bad people, or we are deliberately trying to create them. It is rather a management issue. We need to focus on identifying the causes of inefficiency and try to rectify them.
We are living in a free World.
Everyone must come up with his input about negative and positive aspects of social life.
I will definitely high light if I see a light at the end of tunnel.
Unity, Faith, Discipline
Dear Hypocrite, the man who said these words, in reality, he divided people into nations and countries. He used differences to unite people. We are human.. unity, faith, Discipline in humanity is good... but as nation it is poison. Take example of Pakistan and India... There are so many difference between them. These two states were rich, people were happy, no one was poor. When they were living together.. and now india is destroying pakistan and paksitan have similar plans for India.. what unity, faith, discipline of great man you are talking about..
I appreciate the moral of your story.
Problem among various denominations of a religion is not uncommon. European history is full of sectarian fights. Children of Israel were not immune to it either.
Once I asked a Jewish friend if they had people like Javed Sheikh, Salam Zealous or Noor Bajwa in their religion who always think that their point of view was the right one and all other who did not agree with them would go to hell. My friend told me that there had been numerous folklores throughout Jewish traditions about such people. As a matter of fact he told me one:
‘Javad Bawastein was in a habit of criticizing his fellow faithful all the time. The congregation was fed up of his grumbling, cursing and abusing of other so much that they decided to excommunicate him. People put him and his family on a boat and pushed it into the sea toward a lonely island to let him live his way.
After a long time an old friend from Javad's original congregation visited him and was astonished to see two synagogues in the island. The friend asked Javad Bawastein as to why there were two worship places. Mr. Bawastein had exclusive control of the island and there was no one to disagree with him. “Oh, this is the one where I and my extended family go every Sabbath, Barukh Shem! (praise be the name)", Mr Bawastein said loudly after proudly pointing toward his synagogue. "And the far away one, which I also built myself, belongs to all those people who didn’t agree with me before I left. I swear to God I will never enter into that worship place. Whoever prays in that synagogue will surely go to hell”, Mr. Bawastein shouted zealously.'
