All the technical terms are used followed by promises. How is still a question mark. Inclusion of two cover pages of "Newsweek" depict "Most Dangerous Nation 2008 - Pakistan" and "Bravest Nation 2010-11 - Pakistan" looks like it is the advertisement of PPP. Why this has been included in this Environmental policy is beyond my imagination.
Pakistan is far below the environmental hazardous nations like USA, UK, Japan, China where carbon emission in the atmosphere are much higher due to mushrooms of industries (Koyote Protocol). In Pakistan no industry no carbon emission. The problems in Pakistan is land erosion, salination of lands near seashore. Glaciers in Kohistan areas are so small that it does not make any big problem. Floods are natural disasters and is not an environmental problem. Due to global warming the ocean level is rising which is a real threat, I could not read anything about it. This country is faced with extreme shortage of water, how the green lands would be expanded throughout Pakistan, there is no mention of it - a plan without ways and means.
Presentation is good but substance is missing.

@imtiazahmed: This is the first Environment policy announced by any political party. This is ofcourse a first step and gives out a vision. Detailed methods and laws are not usually discussed while giving out a vision. It would have taken a week or two to explain all the issues in details. But I agree that there would definitely be some shortcomings as no political party has ever come out with any Environment policy before. But this is a first step and should be appreciated.
"Why this has been included in this Environmental policy is beyond my imagination."
The policy was explained while giving the presentation. You have to watch the presentation video.

This is cheapest comment one could think of!
To what lengths they will go to criticize for the sake criticizing when their own sorry excuse of a political party, PMLN has no vision at all on any of these issues let alone policies.
