MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – U.S. forces will join Gulf Cooperation Council nations and international partners in Exercise Eagle Resolve, the premier U.S. multilateral exercise within the Arabian Peninsula, in Kuwait, from March 8-31, 2015.

Eagle Resolve 2015 will consist of a weeklong series of simulated “injects” to exercise participants’ ability to respond as a multinational headquarters staff, followed by a series of tactical demonstrations of land, maritime, and air forces from several nations. The exercise ends with a senior leader seminar to foster an environment for commanders to discuss issues of regional interest.

About 3,000 U.S. military personnel – representing U.S. Central Command headquarters and its components – and military representatives from more than a dozen other nations will support the exercise.

This is the Kuwaiti government’s first time hosting this exercise. Qatar hosted Eagle Resolve 2013; the first iteration of the exercise was held in Tampa in 1999.

  • Tripe!

  • This is a well systemized starting point for eliminating ISIS/ISIL. The military agencies of Europe and mainly that of USA have a strategic opinion that with the ground intelligence information about the movements of Daesh the air attack would be more effective and less loss of their own men. Those Islamic countries that are afraid of ISIL expansion design have joined hands with this strategic exercise. After breaking the back bone of ISIL militants the ground forces would move in for the final kill. Pentagon is confident that this operation would meet success as Iraq/Syria lands are not as mountainous as Afghanistan/Pakistan. Therefore, air strikes would be more effective to weaken the "enemy". The inclusion of oil rich Islamic countries has a purpose for USA/European forces because such operations involve a huge budget which USA alone can't afford because of their already sinking economy.

Saudi Arabia has already hired 40,000/50,000 professional Pakistani military jawans for protection of their common borders with Iraq.

Sharing such useful and informative articles is good but it would be only good if such copy/paste is followed by personal comments which the thread starter doesn't do.

  • This exercise has nothing to do with Pakistan and the Centcom should know that this forum is about Pakistan.

So the American propaganda, please keep away.!!!

  • Dear Anjaan,

Not sure what you are talking about. As I stated before, Pakistan is one of the participating countries in this multilateral training exercise. I am sure you saw the flags of the partner nations on the emblem?

  • It is still a propaganda. If Pakistan is a participant we don't need the US Central Command to come here and tell us.

    Do we??

  • "I am sure you saw the flags of the partner nations on the emblem?"

And why were all of them not on the emblem in the first post???

Photo-shop with an after-thought. Proof enough for it to be a TRIPE!!
