  • A question for Khawaja Asif and co. If it was known as he claims that there were some financial misconduct/mismanagement in Shaukat Khanum Hospital, why has the Government not initiated investigation into it?

His statement is the same as if saying" But you too have done something wrong.......if you accuse us, we will accuse you but if you keep quiet, we too will keep quiet"

What a bunch of dishonest politicians and what an unfortunate and irresponsible nation to elect such people!!

  • Just disclosing this fact that SKMCH donation money has been lost in shady property deal in Muscat has earned him so much ire from IK and his brigade because they are using it as a political tool not a charity organization.

Whenever government officials speak about this scandal, they are immediately blamed for defaming a charity organization and the whole thing becomes political. So the government doesn't take further steps due to political repercussions but that doesn't absolve the perpetrators of this shady deal from their wrongdoing either.

  • . "So the government doesn't take further steps due to political repercussions but that doesn't absolve the perpetrators of this shady deal from their wrongdoing either"

And does that absolve the Government from its duty to take action against the perpetrators of this or any shady deal?

One cannot have one's cake and eat it, can one?

No it doesn't absolve government's responsibility either but as I told you earlier when the government tries to take any step, the perpetrators starts blackmailing the government using political means like dharna, agitation, emotional blackmailing of the public to ward off any chances of them being prosecuted by the government.

So then blame-game continues forever, sadly but that's how things work in Pakistan.

So, it appears that the Government cannot exercise its Writ because it is worried that the opposition will do the emotional blackmail of the public. I don't think you give enough credit to the people. I believe they can appreciate good deeds of the opposition and at the same time vote against the opposition. After all they did not elect the opposition.

" So then blame-game continues forever, sadly but that's how things work in Pakistan."
Do you mean that is how things DON'T work in Pakistan?
