A "Marshall Plan" for Pakistan!
Zardari wants int’l community to help build Pakistan
(January 18, 2010)
LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari Sunday called on the international community to give more resources to fight terrorism and help build a developed Pakistan.
Addressing a reception held for leading citizens of Lahore at the Governor House, the President said, “We have to convince the world to give us the resources to take on the monster of terrorism.”
Pakistan is facing numerous challenges, he said adding this century will belong to Asia and the world is looking towards Pakistan.
“There is a natural instinct in the nation of Pakistan to turn the odds in their favour and it has been shown by the people and political forces including PPP and PML that they turn their weaknesses into strength,” he remarked.
He said, “Time and again I have asked the world for a Marshall Plan for Pakistan like the one they had for Europe.”
Can anyone go any lower? A Marshall Plan for Pakistan, indeed! And this as we watch the sufferings in Haiti and Palestine increase on a daily basis!

What more could be expected out of an essential moron!
Nothing to be expected, quite true. Still, it hurt. So how about a Muslim "Marshall Plan" (if we absolutely must use west terminology) for Palestine? A Funding scheme for any places struck by disaster, like Haiti at the moment? PPP turning weaknesses into strength, claims Zardari. Come the spring, we'll see what tune he'll be singing.

Pakistan needs honest, loyal people to hold reigns of the state. If we can find people who are most loyal to ALLAH ALMIGHTY, who are honest, who already have the credibility to be loyal to Muslims, and if they also educated, that would be 'sone pe suhaga'.
Without such leadership, it is impossible to run the state, it will be impossible to ensure the best regard and interest of the masses of this nation. Once Pakistan has this leadership, then since all plans will already be made in public interest, they will bring about betterment, not only for people of Pakistan, but for ALL! of the UMMAH INSHALLAH.
In any case, the foremost qualities that people who come up for public office is, they MUST!!;
1) be loyal! to ALLAH ALMIGHTY, loyal! to Islam!
2) be honest!
3) have an 'established' 'credibility' to be loyal to Muslims
4) They should be educated
in the above mentioned order.
There must!! be a strict!! checking of those who stand up for public office. The scrutiny of these people should be RAZOR SHARP.
The way you describe it is is how Pakistani democracy will work in years to come. For the moment, however, we have to put up with whatever form of government is thrust down our throats and use damage limitation tactics to keep the harm done to us from spreading.
