This article is not Zardari or Nawaz Sharif specific. If you are weak in reading and understanding Engliish, go get some coaching. Since you look like a child, I politely tell you this article is CPEC specific. You wasted my time in reading your comment.

RE: Grand game changer
Grand game changer
During his address at Karachi airport after one and a half year self-exile, Asif Zardari quoted one sentence, which kept me quesive for some day but every passing day the picture is getting clear in my mind. I don’t remember his exact words, but he said something like this: “Mr. Nawaz Sharif! Don’t forget I am the architect of grand game changer of world economy. CPEC is just a small factor of the main game. You are only busy in contracts”. This line hit my mind big time.
As the news are pouring in and as the development in and around Gawadar Port continues things in my mind are getting clear. China has already captured American markets. Now it has plan to capture European and North African countries’ market. For supplying manufactured goods small and big from China, Gwadar stands a pivotal point. In that, China would save a lot of freight expenses that is being incurred due shipment through Shanghai port. This part of story we already know from the very bieginning. What is more than this. I collected some news clips that are interesting.
China is already purchasing the barren and occupied lands in and around Gwadar. An unconfirmed news is in circle that China plans to dwell 600,000 Chinese in Gwadar. Another news is three chambers of commerce have raised concerns over China’s building industrial units and warehouses alongside the CPEC. One news is detail analysis of Pakistan’s sudden surge in its stretigic military power that include all viz. army, navy and airforce – thanks to China. China’s own marine force from frigates, cruisers, aircraft carriers and submarines to safeguard Gwadar waters is on the card. There are reports that Pak Government is going to offer huge packages of monetary and welfare to all the angry Baluch sardars and has agreed to their administrative control on Gwdar like Dubai. KPK and Sindh upliftments projects have already been documented. China is leaving no stone unturned. There is a distinct tilt of friendly relations of Russia and Iran with Pakistan.
Now link all these pieces of confirmed and unconfirmed news you will get a clearpicture. I still think, this is not all said and done. A bigge game might shape up in future. Let us wait and see. Last line – georgraphy plays an important role for a country’s fate..
USA sanctions on seven Pakistani entities
The export controlling authority of USA has imposed sanction on seven Pakistani entities for sale purchase of any item from United States. This sanction was perhaps reaction after Pakistan Navy successfully tconductedetted a missle test which hit the target.
WASHINGTON: The US government has announced sanctions against seven Pakistani entities allegedly associated with the country’s missile programme, says an official notification.
The notification by the US Department of Commerce said that the entities added to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) list “have been determined by the US government to be acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States”.
All seven have been placed on the entity list under the destination of Pakistan. They are identified as: (1) Ahad International, Suite 5-6, 2nd Floor, Empress Tower, Empress Road, Lahore, and 2nd Floor, Nomro Centre, Badami Bagh, Lahore; (2) Air Weapons Complex (AWC), AWC: E-5, Officers Colony, Wah Cantonment; (3) Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd., 726, G-11/2, Ibne-Sina Road, Islamabad; (4) Maritime Technology Complex (MTC), Plot 94, Karachi, and MTC System Division, PN Dockyard, Karachi; (5) National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), NESCOM Headquarter, Plot 94, Sector H-11/4, Islamabad; (6) New Auto Engineering (NAE), NAE: 72, Industrial Area, Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi; and (7) Universal Tooling Services, a.k.a., the following three aliases: —Forward Design and Manufacturing; —MSM Enterprises; and —Technopak Engineering, Deen Plaza, 68/62, Adamjee Road, Saddar P.O. Box 1640, GPO Rawalpindi; G-7, Nimra Centre 7, Badami Bagh, Lahore; 31/B Faisal Town, Lahore, Punjab; and Model Town, HMC Road, Taxila.
Pakistan has always denied any wrongdoing in connection with its nuclear or missile programme, and Dawn was unable to verify if the names and addresses given were correct or in any way linked to the country’s missile programme.
According to the notification, the US government determined that there was reasonable cause to believe, based on specific and articulable facts, that these “government, parastatal, and private entities in Pakistan are determined to be involved in activities that are contrary to the national security and/or foreign policy of the United States”.
The conduct of these seven entities “raises sufficient concern that prior review of exports, re-exports or transfers (in-country) of items subject to the EAR involving these persons, and the possible imposition of licence conditions or licence denials on shipments to the persons, will enhance (the department’s) ability to prevent violations of the EAR
The placement on the list imposes a licence requirement for all items subject to the EAR and a licence review policy of presumption of denial.
The licence requirements apply to any transaction in which items are to be exported, re-exported, or transferred (in-country) to any of the entities or in which such entities act as purchaser, intermediate consignee, ultimate consignee, or end-user.
In addition, no licence exceptions are available for exports, re-exports, or transfers (in-country) to the persons being added to the entity list in this rule. The restrictions will also apply to acronym used by these entities to help exporters, re-exporters and transferors
The notification does not specify the violations these entities are supposed to have committed and does not give details of the items they are supposed to have exported, imported or re-exported.

I partly agree. BTW PIA chief, Azam Sehgal, has resigned. But, that is not enough, he must represent himself before the Inquiry Committee.

Junaid Jamshed is feared dead in a plane crash
It is feared that the renowned singer turned religious scholar Junaid Jamshed perished in a plane crash. His wife was also travelling with him. The ill fated PIA plane was en route from Chitral to Islamabad while during flight it caught fire and crashed down. The TV channels are detailing the name of the passengers and crew. The plane crashed in such a place where ambulances can’t reach that far. Rescue teams are reaching there but possibility of injured living persons is too thin. The site of the crash is described two hour from Abbottabad. It is 6:37 in Pakistan and the news is still pouring in with no certainity. Junaid Jamshed had gone to Chitral on Tablighi mission. May Allah bestow mercy on us.
RE: A likely twist in the tail - Panama Leaks case
To some extent I agree with you. Sharif's trail based on Qatari Prince's letter looks dubious, on the other hand, the petitioners (PTI et al) have no evidence at hand to prove the money was sent from Pakistan. It is a win win position for both. Courts' judgments are not given on logical conclusions. In the absence of proof beyond reasonable doubt the benefit goes in favor of the accused. I am afraid this will happen this time as well.
RE: A likely twist in the tail - Panama Leaks case
I do endorse your factual analysis Qarar sahib. Without Prince's personal testimony in the court with production of certified copies of payment instruments as to how that trail ends up purchase of London flats, the mere letter has no legal value. I am not sure, but I have a hunch, the defendants side has something up their sleeves. Just a hunch.
